This piece is made with a stone from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach! The majority of these rock are basalt.
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
Each piece is unique.
This necklace is half of a wood ring that has been burned, half a rock and half of a hammered ring attached to a silver strip. It is on a large oval chain. It does not have a clasp as it is long enough to go over the head.
This sale is for this item pictured. I do make this style often, but each one is different and a different size.
It measures approximately 38 inches. The length could be changed if needed.
